Meet Our Physician
Dr. Guirand founded sculpMD Aesthetics & Wellness in 2020 after a long interest in aesthetic medicine. He has been especially interested in non-invasive aesthetic body contouring technology. He continues to actively pursue advanced training opportunities to better serve his patients.
Dr. Guirand grew up in Silicon Valley, in the shadow of Stanford University and was always fascinated by science and technological advances.
After his enlistment in the US Marine Corps, serving with 3rd ANGLICO, Dr. Guirand studied Biochemistry & Cell Biology at UC San Diego and later earned an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Chicago. He trained in general surgery, ECMO/critical care, and is a published clinical research author, with 2 decades in medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Guirand enjoys traveling and competing in masters level track & field. He’s a member of both the Greater Philadelphia Track Club and the USATFs “Masters Team USA” and has competed in two World Masters Track & Field Championships in the Decathlon.
